WP Frontapp plugin settings
When the license key is activated there will be more fields shown. For now we will only copy the URL shown at “Frontapp Plugin URL” and switch to the Front.com settings.
Create WooCommerce section in Front
In your Front inbox, go to the company settings and open the “Developers” page. Create a new app here.
Name the app whatever you like, for this example we will use “My WooCommerce Store”.
Then open the “features” tab & create a new “sidebar plugin”.
The WP Frontapp URL you have copied in the previous step can be pasted here in the “Sidebar panel URL” field. Click on the “create” button to save the settings.
Next, on the bottom of the sidebar plugin settings you will need to copy the “Auth secret” to paste this in your WordPress plugin settings.
Paste Auth secret in WordPress
Switch back to your WordPress environment and paste the “Auth secret” in the “Front Auth Secret” field on the settingspage of WPFrontapp.
On the settingspage of WPFrontapp there is also the option “Page per records”. You can configure how many orders will be shown on the page for a customer.
When this limit is reached there will be pagination added to the orderlist within WPFrontapp.
You can save the settings when every field is filled with content.
Please be aware that your website must run over a secure HTTPS connection, otherwise the integration wont work.
After you have saved the settings, head over to your team inbox to test if your setup works!
When a conversation from a WooCommerce customer is opened, you can click on the button in the right sidebar with your new WooCommerce integration.
If an order is placed, you will see more customer data on this like the example below:
